TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: A baking company comes to the rescue of stranded drivers during snow storm

More stories coming out of that awful traffic jam on 95 in Virgina/DC earlier this week.

A woman named Casey Noe was stuck in the car with her husband.  And after 21 hours of not moving naturally they were starving. A few cars away they noticed a big bread truck that was also stranded.

It was a delivery truck for a company called Schmidt Baking. Casey decided to call the customer service number to see if they’d let the driver hand out bread to people on the highway. Smart thinking! Luckily then the owner of the bakery called her right back and approved it. They ended up handing out loaves of bread to more than 50 cars around them.
