Since the first Grammy Awards ceremony in 1959, the statuette presented to winners is a gold-plated gramophone, also known as a phonograph or record player. The name Grammy is an homage to the gramophone and its revolutionary impact on the music industry.

Some innovative students at UCONN could be part of NASA history.  NASA has challenged college students around the country to come up with a rover that can navigate the surface of the moon. A group of students at UCONN will be spending the rest of the spring and summer designing and developing their concept for a lunar rover! This will be the first time UCONN has competed in the BIG Idea Challenge for NASA. They’re getting $150,000 to fund the project.

Good luck guys!
