TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Couple ties the knot at 37,000 feet in airborne wedding

I’ve heard of some wacky wedding ideas before, but never this!

This couple in Oklahoma started dating in 2020 during the pandemic. They had been planning to get married now that things are getting back to normal. They wanted to do a Vegas Chapel. So they reserved a date, time, booked a flight and everthing. Then as luck would have it… their flight got cancelled last minute. Missing their ceremony time.

They decided to get on the next flight anyway and would just figure it all out when the land. But then something amazing happened. They decided to just do it on the Southwest airlines plane mid-flight!

A guy they had met at the airport happened to be an ordained minister heading to Vegas to marry another couple anyway so they asked him to do it. They had flight attendants making streamers out of toilet paper, one of them stood in as the maid of honor, and there was even professional photographer on board who took photos! Crazy. MY favorite part? A passenger giving them a leftover powdered donut to cut as the wedding cake.

This is truly a moment they will remember for the rest of their lives. Good for them.
