MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Has Mother’s Day always been a national holiday?

Happy Mother’s Day Weekend to all the Moms out there. Crazy to think that it actually wasn’t always a holiday prior to 1914.

1914 was when President Woodrow Wilson officially made Mother’s Day a national holiday in the U.S.

Be sure to get mom what she wants this Sunday… an hour of quiet time to herself.
