MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why do bulls charge at red capes?

You’ve seen this in the running of the bulls in Spain, or at bull riding competitions on TV. The guys waves that red cape and the bull charges towards it. But the bull’s don’t charge because it’s red. It’s not the color at all, bulls are actually colorblind.  They charge because of the way the cape moves and the motion of the fabric. So it could be any color and it would have the same effect.
