TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Mother-Daughter Duo Make History In The Skies

Whatever your parents did for a living when you were younger, maybe you followed in their footsteps and took that career path. Or maybe they owned a family business that you worked at and took over. This happened a lot. But not always up in the air with pilots. Especially women pilots.

Southwest Airlines just had the first ever mother-daughter co-pilot team on one of their flights last month.  Captain Holly Petitt, the Mom, had been flying for years. Then last weekend for the first time her daughter Keely Petitt joined her in the cockpit for a flight from Denver to St. Louis.  Keely says she always knew she wanted to do what her mom does since she was a kid.

Such a cool moment for them! You go, girls.
