TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Determined Mother And Daughter Use Positive Thinking To Get Home After Cancelled Flight

This is a story that will restore your faith in humanity. In this world that seems to be more and more divided stories like this always come around to give us hope and that feel good feeling.

It all came from positive thinking. Alanah and Renee a mother and daughter duo were trying to get home on a 7:00 PM flight from Orlando to Knoxville only to have their flight delayed, and then cancelled. The airline insisted there was no promises they would be able to get another flight.

Meanwhile, there were others on the flight who were having the exact same issue. 13 of them to be specific. Everyone had important things to do the next day. Interviews, meetings, speeches. They couldn’t afford to miss. Alanah and Renee bonded with the fellow stranded strangers so much that they all decided to put their money together and rent a passenger van to drive them all home. 650 miles, and  a 10 hour drive later they were back in Knoxville in time for their appointments the next day.

Crazy! The power of positive thinking and determination. They posted a fun video of it all too which you can check out here.
