MUNDANE MYSTERIES: What do the colors of International Women’s Day represent?

Today is International Women’s Day! if you’ve been following on social and online you’ve probably seen a lot of logos and symbols with the colors purple, green and white.

According to the International Women’s Day website… purple stands for dignity and justice, green for hope, and white for purity.

The color scheme began when the Women’s Social and Political Union formed in the UK back in 1908 and has continued ever since.
