There was that story last week about a plane that crash-landed on a golf course in Wisconsin. The plane was carrying over 50 shelter dogs. Luckily they were all okay and now some of them have already been adopted! The best part? Many of the people adopting are first responders who were at the scene saving them at the time.

It’s creators say the original idea was to make it a video online dating site. Then they realized that people wanted to share more videos in their life and it took off from there.

Andrew and Gianna have a nine-year-old daughter who is very good at gymnastics. They would like to send her to an elite gymnastics’ academy but it’s very expensive. Andrew says they should ask their family to not give her Christmas gifts this year, instead give them money towards the gymnastics academy. Gianna says it’s not fair to their daughter that she won’t get regular gifts and basically, it’s a family Go Fund Me for their child. As the parents, it should be their responsibility to fit the bill even if it’ll be a struggle. What do you think? (34:30)

South Norwalk always seemed to me like the perfect setting for a Christmas movie or winter wonderland. I lived there for a few years and always thought that. Now, they are doing exactly that with their first ever SONO Holiday Extravaganza this Sunday November 20th from 3pm-7pm. Seems like the perfect after party once you leave the Stamford Downtown parade.

What: Mayor Rilling and the Transportation, Mobility and Parking Team invites the community to Norwalk’s first-ever SoNo Holiday Extravaganza, sponsored by the Norwalk Parking Authority and Laz Parking.
This fun-filled family event is free to attend and will take place on 50 Washington Street at North Main Street on Sunday, November 20th from 3:00- 7:00 PM. T
he event will include Santa arriving from the rooftop of SoNo 50, a tree lighting ceremony and a Hanukkah celebration. It will also have fun activities for children, such as a merry-go-round, a petting zoo, horse-drawn carriage rides, games, a DJ, a Roton Middle School Chorale performance, and more!
