Tim works long days and when he gets home, he just wants to eat dinner on the couch and unwind. His wife, Audrey, thinks it’s not good for their relationship to not sit at the dining room table and actually talk to each other during dinner. He says it’s his only time to relax and Monday through Friday, he wants to eat in front of the TV. On the weekends, he doesn’t care. What do you think?  (34:54)

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: College Students always have the best random ideas

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: College Students always have the best random ideas

Ah yes, to be in college again coming up with fun creative ways to spend your free time on campus. Like breaking world records.

A group of students at Georgia Tech are currently in the process of trying to create the world’s largest hop scotch course. They’ve made it 4.2 miles long stretching all the way across their campus. That seems like A LOT of chalk. Now, they are just waiting to hear back from Guinness to confirm whether or not this beats the previous record of four miles.

Good luck to them! I hope they actually have to complete the course to break the record too. That would take a lot of skill.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Where did they come up with the name taxi?

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Where did they come up with the name taxi?

Well before Uber and Lyft were invented we all had this thought cross our minds while riding in a taxi before right? Where did that word even come from?

The word “taxi” is actually just a shortened nickname of the meter that’s in every cab which tells you the fare… it’s called a “taximeter”. So they shortened it to “taxi” as the name of the vehicle.
