We hear stories about people helping other people they don’t know all the time. But for National Pet Day I thought we would do a story about people helping animals to safety.
Three people in Cleveland recently spent several hours rescuing a poor kitten who managed to get stuck eight feet down a drainage pipe. Scary! They even gave it CPR and ended up saving its life. I’m sure the owners were very grateful once they were reunited.
I think we’ll all hold our pets a little tighter tonight.
Anyone who has owned a dog has wondered this before. Can they actually understand what we as humans are saying?!
Some people who’s dogs never listen might not believe this, but dogs do have the ability to learn around 165 words. Obviously shorter words are easier for them. Also words with hard consonants like T and R. Which makes sense as to why they go crazy anytime anyone utters words like “Out” or “treat” from across the room.

With all the stress of going to the grocery store lately it’s always nice when you hear about people helping each other out.
I think we’ve all been here before. This one grandmother in Texas got to the cashier to pay for her groceries last week and realized she was short and didn’t have enough to pay. Naturally she started putting items back. That’s when young woman who works at the store bagging groceries told her to stop and paid the remaining $137 out of her own pocket! Such a nice thing to do. When her store manager found out what happened he was so proud of her that they paid her back the money she used.
Perfect example of if you do something nice for someone it usually always comes back to you in the end. a win-win for everyone.
The internet has been buzzing over the debate on what flavor the famous Wendy’s frosty actually is. I always thought it was straight chocolate, but turns out that’s not true.
It’s actually a chocolate-vanilla swirl! That explains why the color is so light I guess. The reason is because when they were first coming up with the idea for the treat they thought if it were all chocolate, it would overpower the flavor of the food that goes with it. Which totally makes sense, especially if you’re a frosty fry dipper.
Just look at how large the Can’t Beat Raven Jackpot is! Who will stop Raven’s current win streak and take home the money? Can someone please win, Raven is getting full of himself!
