There’s been a lot of people helping others out lately in little ways and in bigger ways.
These two stories might be almost 3,000 miles apart but they are very similar scenarios. Hero civilians thinking quickly to help others in the face of a fire.
The first story happened at a tire shop in Sacramento, California last weekend. The shop caught fire and there is church right next door was about to go up in flames with it. That’s when a bystander and his kid grabbed a nearby hose. Along with another random woman who jumped a fence to turn on the sprinklers. They were able to hold off the flames until the fire crews arrived and ended up saving the church.
The second story was in South Caroline where a FedEx driver saw a garage on fire last Tuesday while delivering packages on his route. He rushed over to the house and made sure everyone got out. Once the fire department arrived and everyone was safe, he then just went back to delivering packages. A true good hearted hero.

It was been proven that a goldfish’s memory is nowhere near as short as three seconds. While it may be true for some, most goldfish can actually remember things for at least five months! Which feels like a lifetime when it comes to goldfish.

We’ve all rummaged through a yard sale or thrift store and found a few items we could turn around for profit. But how often have you used that hobby for good?
This 16-year-old kid in Rhode Island has been buying up abandoned storage units after people can’t pay their bill. Then going through all the stuff to see what he could keep and sell to make money. Until recently when he had the epiphany that he should try and do something good with these units. So what he started to do was keep some of the items and then track down the original owner of the unit to give them all their stuff back. As you can imagine the people are usually shocked when he shows up.
What a great idea.
