Squid Game is the most popular show in the history of Netflix, and one of the most popular Halloween costumes this year.  But some school districts across the country are banning the costume, and Anna and Raven aren’t sure how to feel about it!  (30:54)

Hailey and a group of moms always pull the “bar cart” along the street when they take their kids trick-or-treating every year. Her husband, Jeremy, says that it’s inappropriate for parents to be drinking alcohol while taking their children up and down the street! Whose side are you on? (34:45)

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: A World Record Dessert To Feed Families In Need

Anytime you can break a world record and help people at the same time it’s a good day.

That’s what this one grocery store in Nebraska did breaking the world record for making the largest ice cream sandwich. They created a 2,960-pound treat.  Then decided to divide it up and serve it to families in need at two local food banks.

The people at Guinness set the goal for the record at 2,460 pounds, and it took a team of 30 employees from the store working for five hours to create the monster ice cream sandwich that beat the goal weight by 500 pounds.

They must have had to deliver that thing pretty quick so it didn’t melt. Yummy.

MUNDANE MYSTERIES: Why is it called the “World Series”?

Tonight is game 1 of the World Series between the Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves. I know, I know, bummer none of the Connecticut adjacent teams made it. Yankees, Mets, and Red Sox all out. Red Sox at least came close!

Today’s mystery… why do they call it the “World Series”?

It all started with a guy named Barney Dreyfuss who was the owner of the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1903. He wrote a letter to the owner of the Boston Red Sox challenging them to a ‘World’s Championship Series’. The Pirates were the best National League team that year and the Red Sox were the best in the American League. The name stuck ever since but has been shortened to World Series.

So… go Braves I guess tonight? Because everyone hates the Astros for cheating and I know a few people who live down in ATL.

A viral photo has been going around, and it’s got Anna thinking.  How can something that is considered so beautiful also seem so gross in the wrong context?  (:30)

We currently live in the golden age of television, which is why Anna can’t understand why Raven watches so much bad TV!  (2:52)

Embarrassing your kids can be funny, but if you do THIS at school drop off to your 12 year-old, that’s all I need to know about you!  (5:56)

What’s your food weakness?  Some foods are just impossible to say not to, and Anna’s involves licking a pint glass! (8:52)
